Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in hot seat

Ravi Shankar in hot seat

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has surprised me and the entire peace-loving community.  I was hoping he would encourage Indians to abide by the Supreme Court’s decision. Instead, he predicts riots between Hindus and Muslims would occur, what he forgets is that Indians have honored the previous Supreme Court Decision of dividing the land between Hindus and Muslims 2/3 and 1/3 – they may not have agreed, but respected the court decision, neither Muslims nor Hindus agitated. Even when the court nullified the Triple Talaq, Muslims respected the law of the land.

Sri Sri's intention is good, he wants peace and I am with him on that. However, he suggests that the Supreme court decision will not be acceptable to the public and riots will ensue in the likes of Syria and Iraq. I can see his concern, but an expression of that concern could have been said in a better language. He does not want conflict as I read him, but his words will fan the flames and provides justification for riots by Hindus or Muslims.

Three videos - I urge you to watch with an open mind.

Three Panelists, three different representation. For a good change, the three panelists are talking a lot of sense.  Narendra Sing Rana – BJP, Anshu Sethi – Congress, and Shahid Siddiqui – former Rajya Sabha Member. The TV anchor managed the debate well.

Interview with Aaj Tak TV, here is another good journalist asking the right questions. She deserves all the accolades.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhofZTY0ekI

Aaj Tak TV – discussion - pure shouting Match! I cut it off half way through it
