Bringer of peace - Bush

PRESIDENT BUSH, BRINGER OF PEACE
Mike Ghouse July 19, 2006

We, meaning, people of the world, have an obligation to struggle to make the world a better place. It is in the interest of mankind, the long term security and peace of each of us, that we must work for a better world. Paradoxically, trying to protect narrower (nationalistic or individual) interests, we actually lose everything.A just world is the key for peace and security of all people. If we stand by silently, we are indeed responsible for the destruction of peace and security of the people of the Middle East, that includes Israel for those who don't know it.What is sad, very sad indeed, is the short sightedness on the part of all parties;

1. Hezbollah rhetoric does nothing but provide substance for war. Hezbollah is dead wrong.
2. Hamas's commitment to destroy Israel makes the Israelis dig in their heels. Hamas is dead wrong.
3. Israel's arrogance that their might will solve the problem is dead wrong
4. Lebanon was totally destroyed, and we are punishing them again. Shame on us if we remain silent.

In the history of mankind, the "might" has never solved the problems of history. Pharaoh's, Alexander, Roman Empire, Ottoman Empire and Great Britain have never been able to occupy lands against the will of people. The powerful Russia could not do much in Afghanistan, we the Almighty Americans failed in Vietnam and am not sure if we will succeed in Iraq. Of all the people on earth, the Jewish people have withstood oppression more than any one else, from Pharaoh, Roman Empire to the Spanish Inquisitions to the Holocaust. Oppression will never win, there is no history to it nor will there be history made on that.

President George Bush can bring about a change and lasting peace. We fund those nations enough to tell them to stop this shix right now or else every one will lose our support, better yet, we will land en-masse and shut everyone out for a few days until they come to their senses, while protecting every life and every property.None of the parties have any sense at this time; they are mired with hate and violence. Our President can, if he can see that the long term peace and security of Israel, Palestine and Lebanon comes from respecting every one's space and freedom. Let our forces or the UN forces descend on that land and make sure that every life and every inch of the property is protected.All parties must feel that we are an honest neutral party. And in the genuine interest of peace, short term appeasement must go away. If our president really wants to lasting peace and security for Israel, this is one of the ways to go. There will be screams, but peace will come, then he will be remembered for doing the right thing.

Mr. President, you have an opportunity to be written up as a man of peace in history, please take it up.None of the four parties are capable of thinking long term peace, if not they would have acted as needed. The old saying remains the wisdom for years to come. "If you want the honey, you don't kick the beehive".Here are some sensible quotesErnest Hemingway: Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crimePeter Weiss: Once and for all the idea of glorious victories won by the glorious army must be wiped out. Neither side is glorious. On either side they're just frightened men messing their pants and they all want the same thing - not to lie under the earth, but to walk upon it - without crutchesMahatma Gandhi: What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?Mike Ghouse: If we can learn to accept and respect the God given uniqueness to each one of the 7 billion of us, then conflicts fade and solutions emerge.
